Public beta on the Base Sepolia test network. Payments use test USDC with no real value: do not send real funds. The escrow contract has not had its external security audit yet, and the terms are drafts pending legal review. What the beta means

Impersonation

Official channels

Scammers often pretend to be platform support. These are the channels OpenVPT actually uses, and the things staff will never do.

Where we contact you

  • Notifications inside your account on this website (the bell icon).
  • Transactional e-mails about your account and orders.
  • Replies to what you sent us through the contact form.

Staff will never ask you to

  1. share your seed phrase, private key, password or two-factor code.

  2. move the conversation to Telegram, WhatsApp, WeChat or another app.

  3. pay outside the escrow contract, or send USDC to an address to "verify" or "unlock" your account.

  4. let them move escrowed funds for you — the escrow needs two of three signatures and the platform cannot move funds alone.

If someone pretends to be us

Do not click their links and do not pay. Open their profile, choose Report and pick "Pretending to be OpenVPT staff", or tell us through the contact form with the topic Security.
